“After several months of battling bone marrow cancer and several hospital stays, it was time for me to consider in-home day care. I found myself now needing help with the basic daily living functions. My family and I considered a number of different in-home care organizations and interviewed several caregivers. During the interview process, the entire staff was professional and caring, from the initial interview with the evaluation team through the selection of the daily care givers. The care givers have been a tremendous help to me during the day with basic functions, allowing me to stay in my own home. They also provide companionship during the day as well as accompanying me to frequent doctor visits for examinations and check ups. Norwood also provides senior activities that I can participate in at the local facility. I have two NSN caregivers and they make my life beter by providing excellent overall care of me. They provide assistance that I can no longer provide for myself such as day-to-day grooming, housework, and meal preparation. They also offer companionship through the day which is very important to me. It is a comfort knowing they are there and looking after me. Both are excellent caregivers!--Jennie
