Social Outings

Social interaction is important to remain alert and healthy. We provide contact opportunities to make new friends with similar interests and keep old friends by scheduling monthly outings with door-to-door transportation. Most trips are designed for persons with limited mobility so that you will always know in advance if a lot of walking is involved.

Our trips typically take us to local restaurants, reducing travel time. Stage play matinees, trips to the Chicago Botanic Gardens, luncheons, visits to the Historical Society and social evenings at various locations are some examples.

A Note About Lunch Outings: All outings include pick-up and drop-off at members' homes. Pick-ups begin at 10:30 a.m. unless otherwise noted. Door-to-door transportation is $15.00 per person, and diners pay for their own meals. Call (773) 631-5673 or email us for more information and reservations.
